Ocarinas, a type of vessel flute, have been made by cultures across the globe for thousands of years. Join Claymakers instructor Liz Paley in this hands-on workshop to learn how to make clay ocarinas that produce a clear tone. We’ll cover the basics of resonating cavities and windways, plus strategies for overcoming common pitfalls. At the end of the evening, you’ll have a handmade ocarina!

Note: The registration fee covers one participant and includes clay and firing of your ocarina. The firing process takes 3 weeks; Claymakers staff will contact you by email when your ocarina is available for pickup.

Class Refund Policy: If you drop a class up until seven days before the class date, your tuition will be refunded except for a $25 non-refundable registration fee per space reserved.
