Skill Level: Intermediate and Beyond

In this intermediate course, students will build on foundational skills to deepen their throwing skillset. We’ll work to throw larger and will explore more advanced forms, including lidded vessels and altered shapes. A solid understanding of basic techniques—such as wedging, centering, and throwing straight-walled cylinders at least 6 inches tall—is required.

As we practice refining our throwing skills, students will also engage in instructor-led critiques, getting constructive feedback from peers in a supportive environment. If you're eager your creative boundaries, grow your technical skills, and take your ceramic practice to the next level, join us!

Sunday Afternoons, 1-4 pm

Class Dates: January 5, 12, 19, 26; February 2, 9, 16

Instructor: Justin Trapp

Location: Wheel Studio 1
