Session 1: Blending Wheel and Handbuilding, Tuesday Mornings
Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Interested in handbuilding, but don’t want to leave wheel-throwing behind entirely? Amy will teach you how to combine the best of both worlds! In this class, we’ll focus on expanding our toolbox by creating wheel-thrown bisque molds. These molds will serve as the foundation for functional pieces, adding on to our molded shapes with both wheel and handbuilding techniques. Participants should have previous wheel experience, and be able to proficiently throw with intention.
Tuesday Mornings, 10 am-1 pm
Class Dates: January 7, 14, 21, 28; February 4, 11, 18
Location: Wheel Studio 2
Instructor: Amy Irish
Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced
